Clinic of Psychiatry and Psychology

Clinic of Psychiatry and Psychology is a Unit specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of disorders of childhood and adolescence from a cognitive behavioural perspective. This service is provided by a team of psychiatry and psychology professionals with long and extensive experience.

Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment of Children and Adolescents with various psychopathologies

  • Treatment of mood, anxiety, eating and development disorders, nervous tics, behavioural problems, attention difficulties, hyperactivity, learning problems…
  • Training in educational guidelines for parents.
  • Assessment and treatment of personality in adolescence.
  • Intervention in relationship and communication skills aimed at children and adolescents who have difficulties in interpersonal relationships and in managing various social situations.

Psychopedagogical re-education

Treatments based on cognitive and behavioural strategies that consist of training in basic skills to achieve an improvement in the development and learning process.

Aimed at students with ADHD, learning difficulties, reading and writing disorders, dyslexia and/or those who possess low levels of strategies and study habits that may lead to, or have resulted in, school failure.

  • To incorporate self-instructions, and self-assessment and self-correction techniques.

Mindfulness
